Braindate Lounge at Partner Day at INBOUND

What is a Braindate? 

Braindates are knowledge sharing conversations that you can have with fellow attendees, in a small group setting, on topics of your choice. These 30 minute chats go beyond the traditional networking by facilitating meaningful connections based on shared interest and expertise. This may include, but surely not limited to brainstorming, solving for challenges, and expertise sharing.

Accessing Braindate

From within the INBOUND25 app, you can access this feature by clicking the Braindate button on the Home page.

We strongly recommend you access Braindate via the IN25 app, but if you don’t want to download the app, you can still participate in Braindate via the INBOUND webpage or by using this desktop like, https://inbound.braindate.com/, or the QR code below. 

Navigating Braindate

Once you enter Braindate, click Start Conversations to log in with the email you used to register for Partner Day. You will be prompted to create a Braindate password the first time you log in. On the next screen you can manage your preferences: Enable notifications and adjust your privacy settings. 

New Topic

Click the "plus sign" button or click the "burger menu" icon then  New Topic to create and post a conversation topic you’re interested in talking about. Expertise is not required. The topic serves as the spark all useful conversations need. Once your conversation topic is live, just wait for people to reach out and find a time to meet with you!

Market

On the Market Page, you can browse topics and scroll through other users' profiles. 

Within the Topics tab, you can view the list of existing conversations and sign up for the topics you’re interested in. Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner of any topic card to Favorite, Recommend, Turn on notifications, View Participant List, or View host profile for the session. 

Book a Group Braindate:

1. Click Book a Spot to sign up for group conversations. 
2. Once you’ve booked your spot, click into the topic card to start chatting with the group before your assigned time. 
3. You can always choose to leave a group by clicking the Leave Group button within your confirmed braindates. 

Within the People tab, you can view the profiles of other partners in the Braindate community. Click into the profile to see additional details and schedule a meeting with them. Click the "burger menu" icon in the top right hand corner of the screen, then click your name to edit your own profile. You can add your attendee type and interests, as well as link to your social media accounts. 

My Braindates

Toggle between Invites, Confirmed, and Cheers (past) Braindates you’ve signed up for. You can also propose another time and cancel invitations for upcoming conversations from this page.
