Intro to the App

Please begin by Downloading and Logging into the App.

Home & Menu

On the Home page, you can access an overview of the event. Scroll down to explore interactive and static venue maps, visit the experience page, preview the event community, and see more details about INBOUND.

To access additional features, click the “burger menu” icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen. From this menu, you can access My Profile, Settings, and return to the login page by clicking Don’t see your event?

Profile information can be viewed by the event community and may be pre-populated from your registration. To make changes to your profile:

  • Click My Profile to enter your profile page.
  • Use the Edit button in the top right-hand corner to add a profile picture and update your personal information.


    Additional information specific to you, the user, can be found in the top right-hand corner of the nav bar, including:

  • Chats [Chat Bubble Icon]
    • Your personal inbox: when another attendee reaches out, you’ll receive a notification here. You can also return here to continue 1:1 chatting.
  • Event Updates [Bell Icon]
    • This is where you’ll receive notifications about the event and see who viewed your profile. 

Agenda

Within the app, you can explore the full INBOUND programming schedule and build your own agenda to help you keep track of the sessions you want to attend. Visit Building Your Agenda in the App to learn more.

Klik

Attendees will pick up a badge upon arrival at INBOUND. Your badge will allow you to easily exchange information with your peers and track your session attendance. The Klik feature is where your badge-to-badge contact exchanges will be stored as well as your session attendance cards. Visit Networking & Community in the App to learn more.

Speakers

Attendees can browse our speaker lineup on the Speakers page. Each speaker card will show their bio, social media accounts (if provided), and sessions they are participating in. Visit Viewing Speakers in the App to learn more.

Community

Attendees can search for other attendees and network in the Community feature. Each user that has downloaded the app and set up a profile will appear here. Visit Networking & Community in the App to learn more.

Sponsors

Attendees can browse our sponsors on the Sponsors page. Each sponsor card will show their logo, a description about their presence at INBOUND, and special offers (if applicable). Click on the sponsor card to learn more about each company. Visit Connecting with Sponsors to learn more.

Help Center

We built out a robust knowledge base for our attendees to rely on for information on everything from hotels and transportation to accessibility to how to curate your personal agenda and save a seat to sessions. Attendees can access our Help Center online or in the app. Simply open the Help Center section in the app, click the bubble icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, and search by typing a keyword. For example, I would type in “Agenda” to learn how to save a seat to sessions with capacity caps. Not finding what you’re looking for? Map + Directions

The Interactive Map features a dynamic, 2D digital representation of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where users can orient themselves with all the unique experiences offered at INBOUND as well as locate attendee facilities, such as bathrooms, registration and Help Spots, lounging spaces, and food and beverage options. This feature also offers turn-by-turn directions from a defined starting point of interest to a defined ending point of interest. Visit Navigating the Map to learn more.
